Transform your shooting experience with precision and control. The Vantage Point Armory Compensator combines innovative technology with a patent-pending design, offering unparalleled functionality and adaptability for any situation.

Minimize Recoil / Reliable Compensation: Minimize recoil and maintain control shot after shot. During firing of the weapon, the attached compensator funnels the gas from the propellant through the ports machined into the compensator.  This acts the same as other compensators on the market.  However, because this system is not attached to the slide or barrel it does not inhibit, change or impede the cycling action of the pistol.

Enhance Stability: Ehanced stability and  target reacquisition for unparalleled accuracy

Rugged and Reliable: Designed to withstand intense shooting sessions. Drop tests have proven the Vantage Point Compensator to be as rugged as it is effective.

Holster Selection: Custom Holster Required, or Apply Heat to Modify Existing Holster. Learn more about holster compatibility here.

Standoff Device: When in a situation where the muzzle of the firearm is pushed up against its intended target, the pistol will not go out of battery and therefore it will still be able to fire with the compensator in place.

Ease of Cleaning: Barrel-mounted compensators need to be disassembled and unthreaded to be cleaned which can be a hassle and time consuming to re-time the device. This unit can just be unclamped from the rail by disengaging the locking lug on the accessory for easy field stripping and cleaning of the firearm and compensator.

Price vs. Competition: Since the Vantage Point Compensator mounts to the accessory rail, there is no need for expensive aftermarket barrels.

50 State Legal: Since no threaded barrel is required, our compensator is legal in all 50 states.

Sleek Design: The designer has matched the lines of each individual slide to the compensator, resulting in a streamlined device.

Made in USA: Crafted with precision from premium materials in the USA.

Step-by-Step Instructions for Assembling the Sig Sauer P365 XMACRO Rail-Mounted Compensator:

Before you begin, ensure you have the following:

  • VP Armory Sig Sauer P365 XMACRO Rail-Mounted Compensator
  • Two lock bars (included with Compensator)
  • Two Extended-Tip Set Screws (included with Compensator)
  • Torque Wrench with 3/32” Allen Key (recommended) or 3/32” Allen Wrench
  • Sig Sauer P365 XMACRO
  • Loctite
    • All screws must have a medium-strength, medium-to-high temperature threadlocker applied in accordance with their manufacturer's instructions. We recommend a small application of Green Loctite 290 on each screw. Blue Loctite 246, 242, or 248, are also acceptable if you intend to remove the compensator more regularly, but these products are more likely to loosen under an aggressive firing schedule.

Installation Steps

  1.   Prepare the Firearm:
  • Ensure your firearm is unloaded and safe to handle before beginning any installation process.
  1. Insert the Lock Bars:
  • Take the two lock bars and slide them into the rail slots on your pistol. For the 365 XMACRO, use the first and third rail slots.
  1. Position the Compensator:
  • Slide the compensator over the lock bars, aligning the screw holes on the compensator with the threaded holes on the lock bars.
  • Ensure the screw holes are centered for proper alignment.
  1. Secure the Screws:
  • Insert the screws into the compensator holes.
  • Begin threading the screws into the lock bars, ensuring that the screws align with the depressions milled into the lock bars.
  • If you feel resistance and the screw head sits above the compensator surface, it is not properly seated. Adjust as necessary to ensure the screws are fully threaded into place.
  1. Tighten the Screws:
  • Using a torque wrench, tighten the screws to 5 in-lbs.
  • If desired, apply a small amount of Loctite to the screws before tightening for added security during firing.
  • Note: The use of Loctite is essential to ensure the screws do not back out over time with firing.
  1. Verify Fitment:
  • Check that the screws are flush with or slightly below the compensator surface. This ensures the screws are properly locked into place.
  • Inspect the fitment between the compensator and the firearm to confirm there is no interference. There should be a 20-thousandths gap between the slide and the compensator.
  1. Allow For Drying Time:
  • Allow the assembly to dry for at least a day to ensure the Loctite sets properly.
  • Witness mark all screws with an oil-based paint pen for future reference to detect any loosening.
  • The first time the firearm is fired with the compensator installed, the screws should be checked after the first few shots to ensure it has been installed properly.
  • Regularly check your witness marks to ensure that the screws have not loosened. If they loosen during firing, re-torque them immediately.
  • If any of the attachment screws become damaged or loose, do not attempt to fire the handgun with the compensator attached. You will need to replace the screw.
  1. Final Check:
  • Confirm all screws are secure and flush with the compensator surface.
  • Ensure there is no movement or wiggle between the compensator and the firearm.

Important Notes:

  • Alignment is Key: Proper alignment of the screws with the lock bars is essential for secure installation.
  • Use Loctite: For enhanced security, apply Loctite to the screws to prevent loosening during use.
  • Check Gap Clearance: Ensure there is a gap between the slide and the compensator to prevent any interference with the slide's operation.

Upgrading your handgun with a compensator requires a higher level of maintenance and care. Ensuring that it is installed correctly and checked frequently is critical for proper function and safety.
